Meet Dr. Norlin
Mia Norlin, MD, helps women of all ages manage their gynecologic and obstetric health. She practices at The Association for Women’s Health Care, serving patients in The Loop in Chicago, as well as in the Northbrook office.
She specializes in family planning, adolescent care, and perimenopause and menopause. She enjoys managing both high- and low-risk pregnancies and multiple gestations. She truly is committed to the entire obstetrical process and works hard to make it a pleasant experience for her patients. She offers and manages treatment plans for women with abnormal Pap smears. She also provides minimally-invasive gynecologic surgery, including operative hysteroscopy and laparoscopy.
Dr. Norlin graduated from Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania with a B.A. in biology and a minor in Women’s Studies. She attended medical school at the University of Florida in Gainesville, and did her internship and residency at the Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio.
She’s currently on faculty at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and affiliated with Northwestern Memorial Hospital and Prentice Women’s Hospital in Chicago. Her accolades include a number of teaching awards from OSU, Chief Resident of the Year from OSU in 2001, and numerous teaching awards from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.
